I’ve learned that some of you like to know what to expect from 22w 6d. Over the past few weeks I think I’ve found a schedule that works, although I know you’ll understand if this varies from time to time. Fortunately for us, life doesn’t always happen on a schedule.
You can expect a new blog post most Tuesdays. These posts usually have to do with our life with James now. I tend to write about whatever triumph or struggle we’re facing, as I do this mostly as a form of therapy for myself. Writing has been the tool I’ve used most often to sort things out and work through situations. I still have the diaries I started keeping as a teenager, and although the struggles have changed, the voice inside that wants to work through these struggles hasn’t.
I will post again most Fridays. “Flashback Fridays” will begin on Friday, February 1st. These posts will be reflections from the past couple of years with James. I may post about a specific memory from nicu days, maybe just a favorite photo, or a blog post I want to re-visit. Curious myself to see how this works out.

I am so glad I met your family tonight at our session at Cook Children’s. I am looking forward to getting to know your family and James better in the days to come. What an amazing story…..absolutely amazing. I have all kinds of ideas churning in my head that I look forward to sharing with you in the coming days…in the mean time I intent to get to know 22w6d!
